Discover Kotor's Old Town on a guided walking tour. See the 1602 Clock Tower, the Provost’s Palace, and the Maritime Museum, and learn about the city's history from your guide.
Meet your guide at the Sea Gate, the main entrance built in the 16th century. As you step under its stone arch, learn about Kotor’s transformation from a Roman outpost to a strategic Venetian stronghold.  Begin your journey in the Square of Arms, the city's largest open space. Gaze up at the 1602 Clock Tower and view the historic Arsenal and Napoleon’s Theater. Standing in the shadow of the Provost’s Palace, feel the former glory of Kotor as a formidable naval bastion.  Navigate the narrow alleys and pass the Buća and Beskuća Palaces. Keep an eye out for the intricate family crests and Gothic windows—silent witnesses to the immense wealth gathered by fjord traders. In Flour Square, stop to admire Pima Palace, a Renaissance-Baroque masterpiece famous for its sprawling stone terrace that defines aristocratic luxury.  Reach the spiritual peak of your tour at St. Tryphon Cathedral. Built in 1166, this Romanesque landmark with its unique twin towers tells the story of the city’s resilience. Then, head to the Grgurina Palace, now home to the Maritime Museum. Surrounded by ancient maps and model ships, grasp the ambition of the Boka Bay mariners who once ruled the Adriatic.  Before concluding, visit the Karampana Well, the 17th-century wrought-iron fountain that served as the city’s social hub for generations. Finally, arrive at St. Luke’s Square to see the 12th-century St. Luke’s Church, a remarkable symbol of the harmonious coexistence between Orthodox and Catholic traditions.
