In Porovaara, you'll learn lots of fascinating facts about reindeer, Lapland's most famous animal. You will meet reindeer in their natural habitat and get to know the reindeer herder's close-to-nature lifestyle. 

Of course, a nice excursion to the reindeer includes grilling sausages on a campfire. Sit by the fire in peace and quiet and enjoy the nature around you. 

Reindeer have been grazing in Porovaara for centuries. Come and experience Lapland's living cultural heritage! Porovaara is only a 20-minute drive from the centre of Rovaniemi.
