Spend half a day at a Sami camp to experience reindeer feeding and Sami culture, and also enjoy a fun reindeer sledding experience.
  • Opportunity to hand-feed a herd of semi-wild, gentle reindeer and experience the charm of Arctic animals. 
  • Gain deep insight into the traditional history, mythology, and ancient way of life of the Sami, the Arctic's indigenous people. 
  • Gather around the fire inside a traditional Sami lavvu/hut to listen to the moving and heartfelt Joik (traditional Sami singing). 
  • Savor an authentic, traditional Sami stew, Bidos, and hot drinks in a cozy, warm setting.

      • Please ensure you wear wool or fleece thermal layers and bring a warm hat, scarf, and waterproof gloves to cope with the severe Arctic cold
      • When feeding the reindeer, please remain quiet and calm, approach slowly, and avoid any sudden movements or loud noises that could frighten the animals
      • for you have special dietary requirements such as vegetarian, vegan, or allergies, please inform us at the time of booking so the camp can prepare alternative meals for you
      • The specific meeting point and time will be confirmed via email
