Ride across frozen lakes, wide open swamps, and through snowy forests as you discover the stunning Arctic landscapes around Levi. This snowmobile safari is a perfect way to enjoy the peaceful beauty of Lapland, with plenty of stops to take amazing photos of the winter scenery. During the tour, your guide will also serve you delicious hot berry juice, a traditional Lapland favorite!

This unforgettable snowmobile experience is a must-do for anyone looking for a real taste of Lapland.

The driving time is approximately 1 hour and 40 - 50 minutes and the driving distance depends on the driving skills of the group.

Two adults ride on one snowmobile, single riding is possible for an extra charge.

Children 4 - 14 years will travel in a sleigh pulled behind the guide's snowmobile when child price is paid. Please note, that we do not recommend snowmobile safaris for children under 4 years for their own comfort and safety.

Children over 140 cm can sit on a snowmobile, when paying adult price for the tour.

The driver of a snowmobile must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid B driver’s license. Customers intending to drive a snowmobile must bring their driving license with them on the tour. According to Finnish traffic regulations, copies, photographs or digital licenses cannot be accepted. If you do not bring your physical driving license you won't be able to drive and no refund can be offered.

What's included?

Use of thermal clothing during the safari (thermal overall, boots, gloves, woollen socks, a balaclava and helmet).
Hot berry juice.
Snowmobile driving includes instructions and a safety briefing. Two adults ride one snowmobile. The riding time on snowmobiles is approximately 1 hour and 40 - 50 minutes.
Short stops throughout the tour to take photos of the beautiful scenery.
Guidance is in English, other languages on request.

Meeting time: 30 minutes before the start of your tour.
Meeting point: Wild Nordic Levi Safari Centre, Tunturitie 2, 99130 Kittilä.
Transfers to and from this activity are included. If you do not have your own transportation and you wish to be picked up from Levi centre, please choose “pick-up” when making a booking. The pick-up meeting point is in front of the Levi Tourist Information centre at Myllyjoentie 2, 99130 Kittilä. The transfer departs 30 minutes before the start of the tour.

Snowmobile tours are not suitable for pregnant women due to vibrations as a result of uneven tracks, and the presence of exhaust fumes of the snowmobiles.
The driver of the snowmobile is held liable for any damages caused to the snowmobile. The self liability amount for any damage is a flat rate of 900€. By purchasing an additional self liability waiver for 20€/driver you can reduce the self liability flat rate to 200€/driver/accident case.
