Embark on an exhilarating adventure through the snowy forests and stunning natural landscapes of the Arctic Circle in Rovaniemi!

Your experience begins with a meeting at our Safari Office or at our City Office, where you'll be greeted by your guide. You'll then gear up in warm winter overalls to ensure you're comfortable and protected during the ride. Next, we’ll check driving licenses for those who will be operating a snowmobile, followed by a safety briefing to go over important guidelines for a safe and enjoyable experience. Before setting off with the snowmobiles, your guide will give detailed driving instructions, the speed and length of the safari will be customized to your group's experience level. Our safaris are perfect for beginners and thrill-seekers alike. The snowmobile trail will take you on a journey through the breathtaking wilderness of the Arctic Circle, where you will witness the beauty of the most scenic locations. During the ride you will have stops to take some pictures and switch drivers if you travel in pairs.

Duration of the program is about 3 hours
In order to drive a snowmobile, a valid driver’s license (class B) is required. A provisional license or a picture of the driving license won’t be accepted. The driving license must be recognizable in English. If you do not bring your driving license you will not be able to drive a snowmobile and no refund can be offered
Children and adults without a drivers’ license can join the safari by sitting on a sledge pulled by the guide.
2 adults share 1 snowmobile. If the number of people in the group is an odd number, someone in the group will have to share a snowmobile with another member of the activity. Single driving is available as a supplement for adults
Children 4-13 years old are seated in a sledge behind the guide’s snowmobile. We recommend one of the parents to sit with a small child in the sledge for the child’s safety
If a child over 140 cm wishes to sit in a snowmobile as a passenger, a full adult price will be charged (according to availability).
The snowmobile driver is responsible for any damages to the vehicle, with a maximum personal self-liability of 950€ per person per snowmobile in case of an accident. Additional insurance can be purchased on site for 15€, reducing self-liability to 150€. This insurance must be purchased before the start of the tour.

Pick-up point: Snowmobile Park City Office (Koskikatu 8). Meeting time at 13:00.
Meeting point: Snowmobile Park Safari House (Joulumantie 5). Meeting time at 13:00
Please note, the meeting times are indicative. We will inform you of the exact meeting time by email the day before. If you do not receive this email, please contact the service provider.
Missed meeting time and point will result on missed safari which will not be refunded

13:05 – Transfer from the City Office departs
13:15 – Santa Claus Village Office and winter overalls
14:00 – Activity starts
16:00 – Activity ends
16:30 – Transfer back to the City Center.

The itinerary serves as an approximation and should only be regarded as a general estimate of the timings.

Good to know

Free cancellation up to 24 hours in advance
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded. Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted
Alcohol consumption is not allowed during the tour, and guests cannot participate if intoxicated.
